In 2012 kindle will generate USD 840 million in profits from sales of USD 3.7 billion with 500 000 units against the 200 000 000 iPods sold . This represents a rough 20% of today’s Amazon profit, according to this month’s Fortune magazine.
Jeff Bezos says that the people using Kindle are not “gadget people” and compares kindle with a microwave oven.
Is this a good deal?
